with many styles and options available to suit everyone.
The new brochure features many new programmes, in addition
to the outstanding range already on offer. Having listened to
passenger feedback through 2006, Kumuka has also improved and
updated many existing itineraries, thus continuing to offer
the highest quality product on the market.
Kumuka is pleased to announce the launch of three new tours
in Madagascar. The 11-Day ‘Untamed Madagascar’ tour,
priced at $3165, is a fantastic introduction to this island
nation, visiting national parks, beaches, rainforests and villages
and offering the chance the spot lemurs and snorkel on pristine
reefs.

and Uganda in two weeks, and get up close to the rarest of the
apes, the mountain gorilla.

in the Namibian capital of Windhoek. This country is becoming
increasingly popular with visitors, and the 14-Day ‘Desert,
Delta & Falls’ tour, priced at $1265, includes the
highlights of this spectacular area.
Lodge Based tours have proven very popular among travellers
wishing for an alternative to overland tours. Kumuka is pleased
to add to our existing lodge based range, and have expanded
the choice of tours to now include Southern Africa, and more
remote parts of East Africa.
The 9-Day ‘Southern Wilderness’ lodge based tour,
priced at $4975, offers the best of Zambia and Botswana, including
exhilarating flights into the Okavango Delta, and the chance
to view the prolific wildlife in Chobe National Park. Accommodation
is in unique game lodges, offering that little bit of extra
comfort whilst on tour.
For the more adventurous souls, the opportunity of climbing
Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is now even more attractive. Kumuka
has added new summit routes to its range, and climbers now have
the choice between the Marangu Route, the Rongai Route and the
Machame Route. The 8-day Machame route, priced at $1215 is generally
accepted as being the most challenging but more scenic route
to the top. Other routes are also now available upon request.
Kumuka continue to offer the highest quality overland tours
in the Middle East. With itineraries ranging from 14 to 35 days
in duration, visiting all the must-see sights of Turkey, Syria,
Jordan and Egypt, and including events such as Anzac Day commemorative
services, a number have tours have been reduced in price, whilst
still maintaining the quality and amount of inclusions.

and generous discounts of up to 15% apply to bookings made before
the 31st January, 2007.
