Kumuka Worldwide are pleased to announce the release of their
new South & Central America brochure this week.
Kumuka continue to offer highly inclusive local transport and
overland adventure tours in South and Central America. Renowned
for their quality and reliability, Kumuka’s large range
of tours in Latin America offers the more adventurous traveller
a more authentic experience, with many styles and options available
to suit everyone.
Kumuka have very generous early bird discounts available. Travellers
who book and pay in full within 7 days before 20 December 2006
will receive a 15% discount off the tour price. This offer does
not apply to specialist tours and the Coastal Express.
In addition to the outstanding range of tour products previously
on offer, Kumuka is pleased to launch several new programmes
within the new brochure.
The new 22-Day ‘Rainforest & Desert Explorer’
tour, priced at $1655, extends the Local Transport range and
operates from Quito to Lima and in reverse. This fantastic trip
uses local buses and riverboats to journey through Ecuador’s
emerald scenery and Peru’s desert coastlines with plenty
of opportunities for eco-tourism and adventure sports. The main
highlights of these areas are not missed and the famous Otavalo
Markets, Amazon Jungle, Banos Hot Springs, beaches of Punta
Sal and soaring heights and frozen glaciers of the Cordillera
Blanca are all included.
Kumuka has also added to their host of specialist programs
and add-ons, designed for passengers who want to customize their
own activities and experiences in Latin America. These can be
added on to the beginning or end of any Kumuka tour, or simply
combined with other programs to suit the individual.
Such new offers have been introduced in Argentina, Brazil and
Peru where trips from 3 hours to 7 days are now available to
be booked in advance, saving travellers precious travelling
time and hassle locally.
In Peru, the 4 Day ‘Lake Titicaca’ trip, priced
at $355 departs from Cusco and visits the highest navigable
lake in the world. With visits to the famed Uros Reed Islands,
including a homestay with a local family and boat trips on the
lake, this is an ideal way of experiencing the traditional hospitality
and culture of this area.
In Argentina, Kumuka now offers passengers the chance to spend
a week skiing in the Andes with ‘Bariloche Ski Week’.
The resort of Bariloche is 19 Kilometres from Latin America’s

In Brazil, a 3 day ‘Buzios Beach Extension’, priced
