PRESS
RELEASE
08 February 2007
Sydney, 08 Feb 07, Kumuka Worldwide has followed up
on the worldwide success of its new travel magazine VENTURE,
with the launch of its second issue.
This colourful 32 page magazine is packed full of more of the
travel stories, destination features, competitions, tips, advice,
reviews and testimonials that were enjoyed in the first issue.
VENTURE has been created to give readers an insight into the
kinds of experiences they can enjoy on a holiday organised by
Kumuka. The magazine gives readers a real sense of the Kumuka
travel experience: the type of people that travel with Kumuka
(many of whom are repeat customers), who the guides are, the
specialist knowledge and the underlying philosophies that drive
the company.
VENTURE has been created to give readers an idea of the kinds
of experiences they can enjoy on a holiday organised by Kumuka.
The magazine gives readers a real sense of the Kumuka travel
experience: the type of people that travel with Kumuka (many
of whom are repeat customers), who the guides are, the specialist
knowledge and the underlying philosophies that drive the company.
Kumuka was founded from a sense of amazement about travel –
the journeys taken through life and the myriad people and places
encountered along the way – it is intended that VENTURE
will reflect this enduring passion.
Issue two will inspire readers with one traveller’s account
of an overland truck journey in Africa. It also delves into
the ANZAC legacy of Turkey and the ill-fated Gallipoli campaign
that is remembered by so many on April 25th of each year. Cusco
show’s off its many colours as one of the highlights on
a South American local transport tour, and one passenger finds
out just how hard the Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal really
is.
As well as exploring India’s Vital Attractions, and testing
two ways of travelling through Vietnam, Kumuka also explores
the question that troubles all travellers: ‘What’s
in a price?’ and how savvy explorers can avoid being hit
for ‘hidden extra’s’ whilst on the move.
For all this and much more, the Summer / Autumn e-version is
being e-mailed to existing members of the Kumuka Worldwide database
and is available for worldwide users to download from their
website www.kumuka.com.
